What AI 10Bn is

AI10Bn is a continental initiative that helps African countries turn national AI priorities into prepared, financeable projects that support jobs, productivity and inclusive growth.

It rests on the African Development Bank's analysis that inclusive AI adoption could help create 35 to 40 million jobs and add US$1 trillion to GDP by 2035. The initiative uses 2035 as a planning horizon, not a promise. Its mobilisation ambition is US$10 billion.

AI10Bn is an initiative of the African Development Bank and the UNDP AI Hub for Sustainable Development. AfCEN serves as secretariat and pipeline infrastructure partner: it runs the operating rhythm, partner follow-up and delivery, and supports country intelligence and project preparation.
